So the big night is coming up and it’s down to you to do all the organization. Well, it doesn’t have to be a drama to get everything set for a great event. Here are the main things to be aware of when you are planning and also on the night.
Get in Early
You don’t want to leave things until the last minute. There are a limited number of party buses available in Perth, and if you wait too long, you might just find that more dedicated party planners have gotten in ahead of you and booked up the last available mobile party venues. And that is the last thing you would want to happen!
This is especially true for peak times like summer, long weekends and other times such as when festivals are on. If your event is going to be happening around one of these dates, get in as soon as you can.
As soon as you know your date and approximate numbers, give us a call at DoubleUP to check the availability and definitively reserve your party bus.
Have an Idea of Numbers
Not everyone is good at RSVP-ing, and when you’re hiring a mobile party vehicle you’ll need to have a pretty good idea of how many will be attending, in advance. This is for a couple of reasons – for one thing, you’ll need to choose the right sized bus. After all, we are famous for the fact that that our DoubleUP party fleet goes right up to the Double Trouble with a capacity of up to 65 party-goers. But if you don’t need the Double Decker, there are a few different bus sizes and options, and you’re sure to find one that’s right for your group.
Whether you’re using social media invitations or calling or messaging individually, try to canvas everyone so that you know who will actually be coming. Of course, people who say they might be coming but don’t commit could be a problem for you later on, when you’re asking for people to chip in their share of the costs. You don’t want to hire the more expensive options when numbers turn out to be a little (or a lot) lower than what you were expecting. Keep in mind that we do have set prices regardless of the number of patrons.
Ask Around For Pricing
We at DoubleUP are confident that we offer the best party bus experience and value for money in Perth, so we have no problem in advising you to call around. When you talk to us, let us know not only your group size, route and stops, and what you’re looking for in your party bus experience and we’ll give you an estimate of costs.
Plan Your Route and Stops
It’s a good idea to work out the timing and route of the trip in advance, allowing plenty of time for stops at your venues of choice. Don’t forget that a lot of the fun happens on the bus, so allowing plenty of time on the road as well as during the stops is always welcomed by the attendees. If you’re not sure about planning this aspect of the night, don’t hesitate to ask us. We have the local knowledge about the best routes and stops in the Perth area so go ahead and pick our brains at DoubleUP. Whether it’s a winery tour, or breweries or other attractions, we have you covered.
Understand Your Responsibilities
No-one wants to be the killjoy, but at DoubleUP we want everyone to have the safest and most fun experience possible. As the person hiring the bus, you are considered the Lead Passenger, and it’s up to you to make sure that everyone follows the rules. A couple of the main things to keep in mind are:
- Passengers must be aged 16 or over
- By law, no alcohol may be consumed on the bus. This is simply the law in WA and buses are subject to police stop and checks.
- Bad behavior from passengers is not permitted. This covers aggression, abusiveness, and throwing litter from the bus. Infringement of these guidelines can result in the immediate ending of the event.
Organise Your Payments
Finally, it’s a good idea to collect the payments from your fellow party-goers ahead of time so you can settle up before the party bus experience. With that out of the way, there’s nothing to do but let loose and have a great time!
Talk to you soon,
