You’ve arranged your party bus hire and the big day’s coming up. The excitement is building and you’re all looking forward to getting on board, cutting loose, and having a good time.

While you’re busy daydreaming about the fun that’s going to be had, there’s a couple of things you can do to prepare. We have all of the party planning under control, so no need to worry about that! But there’s a couple of minor things you should look after ahead of time to make sure your party bus experience is the best it can be.

Get your tunes in order

It’s not a party bus without the party! And what better way to bring the party than with your favourite tunes?

All of our buses are kitted out with top notch sound systems, as well as Bluetooth audio and Aux inputs. That means that the soundtrack for your party bus hire is completely within your control.

So, as the DJ, do you want to pump the hottest hits or rock out to some classics? The choice is all yours!

Having your party playlist set ahead of time means more time enjoying the experience and less time thinking of what to play next. It also helps you avoid the classic party argument over who’s choosing the music. Though, if you want to keep everyone happy, you can always ask your guests for any song requests ahead of time and add them to your list.

Plan your itinerary ahead

Make sure your schedule is set before your party date, whether you plan to attend a concert, function, sporting event, or simply go bar hopping with your buddies. It is best to create a thorough schedule so that everyone is aware of what is going on. To prevent any problems during your vacation, be sure to inform the party bus as well.

Get the money out of the way early

Nothing brings the mood down quicker than having to divide up the bill. Good news is, when you hire your party bus from us, your Perth locals, you’ll know the price when you book. This gives you plenty of time to work out the maths and get everyone to pay their share (if that’s what you’re doing).

Chasing up payments before the day should also help you avoid awkward conversations while onboard. Which is particularly important because, as spacious as our buses are, they feel a lot more comfortable without any unwanted tension!

Prepare all the required paperwork

Bring your confirmation as well as a copy of the deposit receipt with you just to be safe. It is advisable to arrive at your party equipped with the required paperwork because you don’t want to run into any problems.

Make sure the size of your ride fits the size of your crew

The last thing you want is to have to leave people behind! So, before the big day comes, it’s important you confirm your numbers and make sure you’ll all fit onto your bus.

We understand that things happen and sometimes last-minute changes can’t be avoided – after all, who wouldn’t want an invite when they hear you’ve hired a party bus! – but we have strict capacity limits for all of our buses. These are in place for your safety and enjoyment and we cannot compromise on them, no matter how nicely you ask!

However, if you do suddenly find yourself with too many friends and not enough spaces, give us a call. Not only might you be able to upgrade to a bigger bus, it will save you from a seriously uncomfortable conversation when you have to choose who to leave out of your party.

Confirm the pick-up and drop-off locations for your guests

It can be difficult to plan a party for a large number of people. How will you ensure that everyone shows there on time? A helpful hint is to invite guests to arrive earlier than the departure time so that you can start the party on time. You can show up early to greet your friends and hang around while you wait for the rest of the group.

Remind your friends to bring their ID

If you’re entering a club, pub or other licensed venues an ID is required. Make sure to remind your friends to bring their IDs.  Don’t allow a piece of plastic ruin your party’s atmosphere. If someone forgot their ID at home or wasn’t aware that it was required, you don’t want to leave them behind.

Check out the Ts & Cs

We really don’t want to be those guys, but sometimes rules are required. After all, we want you to have a great time, but we also want to keep you safe.

As the person who hired the party bus, you are considered the Lead Passenger and will be responsible for any issues experienced during your event. With that in mind, we’ve found that it’s a good idea to go over our terms and conditions with everyone that’s coming onto bus, prior to the day. As part of your party bus hire, your driver will also go over these with all of you before you take off, but it’s best everyone knows what’s the go is before the bus arrives.

Specifically, it’s worth letting everyone know that:

We believe these rules are fair and reasonable, and necessary to make sure everyone is protected. If you have any questions about our terms and conditions, please feel free to call us prior to your booking to discuss.

Got questions? Give us a call…
